The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a homicide that left a woman dead.
At 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a call to shoot a person at Spanish Moss Ct. in Lawrenceville.

When officers arrived, they found a woman who had died of a gunshot wound.
GCPD said the shooter remained at the scene until officers arrived and she is being questioned by homicide detectives.
Police say the gunman is related to the woman she shot. Both women lived in the residence and witnesses at the scene stated that there was an altercation that led to the shooting.
