Woman killed, second person injured in early morning shooting on Greenock Street in Dorchester

DORCHESTER – A woman is dead and a second person is injured after a shooting early Saturday morning in Dorchester.

It happened shortly before 5.30am in Greenock Street. Police said the woman, who has not yet been identified, was found with a gunshot wound. She was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A second person was also shot and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
