One person was killed in Charlotte’s Plaza Midwood neighborhood after a shooting on Sunday afternoon, according to MEDIC.
MEDIC said they were en route to the scene of a shooting on the 1600 block of Eastcrest Drive on Sunday just after 3:30 p.m.
Officials say one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
CMPD says they are conducting a homicide investigation at that location.
So far, there is no word on what led to this shooting or who was shot.
