One person was killed in a shooting in Chesapeake on Sunday evening.
Just before 5 p.m., police were called to the 3100 block of Fairview Street, a residential neighborhood of apartments, for a shooting, according to a news release.
When police arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No other information, including the victim’s age, has been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
