One person was killed in a two-car crash on the 405 Freeway in Van Nuys on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened around 5:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Sherman Way.
The circumstances leading up to the accident are still unclear, but paramedics arrived on scene shortly after receiving the call. They didn’t take anyone to the hospital.
It is unclear whether the other driver and any occupants of both vehicles were injured in the collision.
CHP officers issued a SigAlert that lasted from 6 a.m. until approximately 10:30 a.m. before all lanes were reopened.
