One person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting in downtown Los Angeles, police said.
Los Angeles police said a shooting with multiple victims occurred at Maple and 12th streets just after 12:15 a.m. on Sunday.
According to police, a man shot a gun from the sunroof of a vehicle at another vehicle, striking several people.
The victim was a man between 17 and 20 years old and died at the scene. A second victim, believed to be twenty years old, was in critical condition. A third victim, described as an 18-year-old woman, was believed to be in stable condition.
The shooting was believed to be gang-related, the LAPD said. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
