One person was killed in a shooting in Cleves on Sunday afternoon, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Officers were dispatched to the 5900 block of East Miami River Road just before 3 p.m., where they found someone described only as an “unknown white male” suffering from a gunshot wound, officials said in a news release.
The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Western Ridge Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead from injuries sustained in the shooting, officials said. The victim’s identity is being withheld until family is notified.
A Hamilton County SWAT team assisted in searching a property near the crime scene, but authorities have not yet released any information about an arrest or a possible suspect.
