One person was hospitalized after a car possibly carrying fireworks crashed into the Burbank airport late Monday night.
Firefighters rushed to the 2600 block of N. Hollywood Way after hearing of a car that had crashed into a K-rail outside the airport, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, but SkyCal was overhead when one person was removed from the car on a stretcher and loaded into the back of an ambulance.
Firefighters could be seen submerging the car, which was badly damaged and showing signs of being on fire.
