According to MEDIC, one person is in hospital after a shooting on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of the shooting on Riverbirch Drive in south Charlotte just after 3 p.m.
When Medic arrived, they found one person with what they said were life-threatening injuries.
Nothing is yet known about the cause of the shooting and the possible involvement of suspects.
Channel 9 has a crew on site at the apartment complex and will provide live updates on our 6 p.m. news.
