One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Dayton on Sunday morning.

According to initial reports, around 11:30 a.m., Dayton police and medics were called to the 3300 block of West Second Street for reports of a man shot in the alley.

A Montgomery County Regional Dispatch sergeant confirmed one person was taken to the hospital.

In a 911 call obtained by News Center 7, a woman tells dispatchers she saw several boys shooting on her neighbor’s porch.
