CHICAGO (CBS) — A 14-year-old boy was shot to death in a Little Village apartment Monday evening.
Just after 10:20 p.m., police said the teen was shot in the chest at an apartment building in the 2200 block of South Christiana Avenue.
First responders performed lifesaving measures at the scene before he was taken to Stroger Hospital. He was later pronounced dead.
Video taken at the scene shows a bullet hole in the apartment window. Chicago police did not provide details about where the shots were fired.
Police searched for evidence both inside and outside the building.
No arrests have been made. Police are looking for the shooter.
