CHICAGO (CBS) — A 15-year-old boy was found shot inside an Englewood home Tuesday morning.
Just after 11:30 a.m., the teen was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the 6700 block of South Parnell Avenue. According to police, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A murder investigation is underway. This is the second teen to be shot to death in a Chicago-area home in the span of about 12 hours.
A teenager was found shot to death just after 10:20 p.m murdered in a house in Little Village. Police said the 14-year-old was shot in the chest at an apartment building in the 2200 block of South Christiana Avenue.
No arrests have been made.
Police have not established any connection between the deaths.
