ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. — Two people have died and at least three others were injured after a driver drove through a terrace in the western metropolis on Sunday evening.
According to city of St. Louis Park officials, surveillance footage shows a male driver pulling into the parking lot of Park Tavern around 8 p.m. The footage shows him attempting to park and then driving onto the outdoor patio.
The driver has been arrested for manslaughter.
The names of the victims and the suspect have not been released.
The scene remains active as the Minnesota State Patrol reconstructs what happened. Anyone with information is asked to call 952-924-2618.
St. Louis police received assistance from multiple agencies, including the Hopkins, Minnetonka and Wayzata police departments, and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation by the St. Louis Park Police Department. Additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available,” city officials said in a statement.
Park Tavern is located at 3400 Louisiana Avenue.
