Two people were hospitalized early Sunday evening after a violent crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened near the Topanga Canyon Boulevard intersection around 5:30 p.m.
Firefighters were also called to the scene and airlifted the victims to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries. Nothing was said about their condition.
Investigators say the collision occurred between a car and a motorcyclist.
The cause is still under investigation.
