Two men were arrested after sheriff’s deputies found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia near a Preble County school last week.

According to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office, officers were working drug trafficking complaints at a garage in West Alexandria, less than 1,000 feet from Twin Valley South Schools.
They contacted a man leaving a garage at 100 West Dayton Street and discovered he was suspected of using methamphetamine after “dealing” the drugs.

Officers were given permission to search the garage and found seven grams of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales and meth pipes.
One of the suspects admitted to selling methamphetamine in the garage, which is less than 1,000 feet from the school, the sheriff’s office said.
Robert Johnson, 39, was arrested and charged with two felonies each of aggravated drug trafficking and aggravated drug possession in Eaton District Court.
Clyde Miller, 41, of West Alexandria, was arrested and charged with aggravated drug possession, the sheriff’s office said.
Online jail records show Johnson is being held in the Preble County Jail.
