The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup has reached the Super Eight stage. After three weeks of matches, only eight teams remain in the Cricket World Cup tournament, co-hosted by the US and West Indies. The remaining teams are USA, West Indies, South Africa, India, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh and England (the defending champions). The Super Eight action continues today with the match between India and Afghanistan at 10.30 am, followed by Australia against Bangladesh at 8.30 pm. Are you ready to watch the Cricket World Cup? Unfortunately, in the US the sport is still broadcast on the Willow TV niche, which you may not have access to yet. But we’ve got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know about where to stream matches, how to watch for free, the full Cricket World Cup schedule and more.

TV channel: Willow TV

Streaming: Sling, DirecTV, VPN

The USA and West Indies will co-host the 2024 T20 World Cup, with the matches being played across nine venues in Dallas, Bridgetown, Providence, New York, Lauderhill, North Sound, Gros Islet, Kingstown and Tarouba.

In the US, the Cricket World Cup will be broadcast exclusively on Willow TV. You may not have the niche cricket cable tray in your current package, or you may no longer have cable at all. But don’t worry, you can sign up for Willow TV directly, or add it to a live TV streaming service like Sling or DirecTV Stream. You can also check out other ways to stream the Cricket World Cup for free (or almost free) using a VPN below.

While in the US the T20 World Cup will be broadcast exclusively on Willow TV (which requires cable or a subscription), in Australia it will all be streamed on Amazon Prime Video – so all you have to do is tune in is a Prime subscriber.

Don’t live in Australia? Don’t worry, you can still stream as you do using a VPN. A VPN (virtual private network) helps protect your data, can mask your IP address, and is perhaps the most popular because it is especially useful in the streaming age. Whether you want to watch Friends on Netflix (which left the US version of the streamer in 2019) or tune into the Cricket World Cup on Amazon Prime in Australia, a VPN can help you. Want to try a VPN for the first time? This guide provides an overview of the best VPN options for every type of user.

In Australia, viewers can tune into all 55 matches of the Cricket World Cup on Amazon Prime Video. Although you may not live in Australia, you can still do so current like you do with a VPN. But ExpressVPN offers “internet without borders,” meaning US viewers can tune in to international shows, movies and sporting events, rather than paying for US coverage. All you have to do is sign up for ExpressVPN, change your server location to Australua, and then search for the games on Amazon Prime Video.

ExpressVPN’s extra protection, speed, and range of location options make it a great choice for novice VPN users looking to expand their streaming capabilities, plus it’s Engadget’s top pick for the best streaming VPN. New users can save 49% when they sign up for ExpressVPN’s 12-month plan. Plus, the service offers a 30-day money-back guarantee in case you’re nervous about trying a VPN.
