(CBS DETROIT) – A 21-year-old Michigan woman says winning a $498,607 progressive jackpot prize at Jumbo Jackpot Slots Fast Cash feels surreal.
The player, an Oakland County woman who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning ticket on Sept. 11 at the Ann Arbor Beer Depot at 114 East Williams in Ann Arbor.
“I play Fast Cash occasionally,” the player said. “I felt like playing, so I stopped at the store and bought a ticket. When I looked at it and saw that I had won the jackpot, I couldn’t believe it, so I went home and had my parents look at the ticket. At first we thought I had just won the jackpot, but then we realized that I had won another $250,000 on top of that. It still feels surreal!”
The 21-year-old plans to buy a house with her winnings.
