23 homes and businesses are participating in the Chambersburg holiday lighting contest

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Twenty-three properties are participating in this year’s Deck the Town: Holiday Light Display Contest.

The contest, hosted by the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, invites community members to tour decorated homes and businesses and vote for their favorite displays.

Voting is open until Sunday, December 22 at tinyurl.com/deckthetown2024.

Each vote costs $1, and proceeds benefit the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, according to a press release from the chamber.

“From elegant light displays to whimsical winter wonderlands, this year’s participants truly outdid themselves,” said a Chamber of Commerce representative.

Residents and visitors can plan their routes to experience Chambersburg’s holiday lights at participating locations, including:

• The Myers Zuniga Home – 621 Philadelphia Ave.

• Northwood Books and Visual Arts — 59 N. Main St.

• Shabby Chic Farmhouse Boutique – 29 S. Main St.

• The Jacobshuis — 606 E. Catherine St.

• Leightyland-858 Cleveland Ave.

• Hope – 458 Cumberland Ave.

• Rita’s Italian Ice – 731 Wayne Ave.

• The Cowleys Lights – 150 Eisenhower Drive

• Cool Hollow — 273 Lincoln Way E.

• Lotus Moon Gallery and Yoga – 1055 Lincoln Way E.

• Chick-fil-A Chambersburg – 970 Norland Ave.

• The Good Feet Store – 580 Walker Road, Suite D

• The Clemmens-Kidwell Household – 1547 Fairview Ave.

• The Clark of Whinstone – 5722 Whinstone Way

• The Inn at Ragged Edge – 1090 Ragged Edge Road

• The Guyers – 129 Crider Ave., Fayetteville

• The Adams — 3751 Pampas Circle
