25-year-old man dies in shooting in Norfolk, police say

NORFOLK – The death of a 25-year-old man is under investigation, police said.

Around 11:35 p.m. Saturday, police were called to the 5800 block of Curlew Drive — south of I-264 along the light rail route — after a report of a gunshot victim.

Officers found Rayvone D. Foster of Norfolk with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.

It was the second fatal shooting in Norfolk on Saturday.
