Neighbors in the San Fernando Valley asked police for help Wednesday after hundreds of brazen home burglaries went unsolved.

A neighbor who did not want to be identified showed KCAL videos of his Studio City home being ransacked, with clothes thrown across his room and his windows smashed.

“Not a day goes by that we don’t think about it,” he said.

In the massive scheme, the burglars dress as construction workers and use Wi-Fi jamming technology to avoid security cameras, smash glass and steal belongings. Researchers suspect that several people are involved in multiple conspiracies.

This is yet another neighborhood targeted by a series of burglaries in the North Hollywood and Studio City areas, according to Los Angeles police. 260 burglaries have been recorded so far, but no arrests have been made.

Homeowners are now discussing hiring private patrols as an extra layer of security. A neighborhood watch meeting was held Wednesday evening with neighbors and LAPD officers in attendance.
