Cincinnati police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in Avondale on Sunday.
Around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the 3600 block of Alaska Avenue for a report of a body behind a vacant apartment building, according to a news release.
A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound and first responders pronounced him dead at the scene, the release said.
Authorities identified the victim as 28-year-old Darius Fletcher.
