Four people were injured when a Metro bus collided with another car in Bell Gardens on Friday.
According to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials, the crash happened just after 11:50 p.m. near Florence Avenue and Jaboneria Road.
Three of the crash victims were on the bus, while the fourth was in the car, a Metro spokesman said. All were hospitalized.
Both Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Bell Gardens Police Department units arrived to assist with the incident. The BGPD is expected to lead the investigation.
“Metro thanks the bus company for calling for help so quickly. We also wish a speedy recovery for the injured,” a Metro spokesperson said in a statement.
The cause of the crash is still unclear.
