Six inmates escaped from the White Mountain Apache Detention Center in Whiteriver, Arizona, on Saturday evening. Authorities say all but one have been located as of Sunday afternoon.
Just after 6 p.m. on December 7, White Mountain Apache Police announced on Facebook that they were looking for escaped inmates Julian S. Thomas, Isaiah B. Kindelay, Tyrien W. Thompson, Shaquille Ivins, Brandon Sanchez and Rio Joplin.
Three inmates were captured and taken back into custody at 10:30 PM on Saturday, with authorities finding another at noon on Sunday. According to the White Mountain Apache Police Department, the fifth inmate was found later Sunday morning at 8 a.m.
As of Sunday afternoon, escaped inmate Brandon Sanchez was still at large. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the White Mountain Apache Police Department at 928-338-4942.
White Mountain Apache Police said the inmate may be with other people who may be sheltering or assisting him.
