800 feet of copper wire stolen in Mahanoy Twp.

According to state police in Frackville, approximately 800 feet of six-gauge copper wire, valued at $3,200, was found stolen from a property in Mahanoy Twp.

Police said someone stole the wire from light poles being built on the 100 block of Logistics Drive. The wire belonged to ARC Electrical Construction, Hazleton.

The theft occurred sometime between September 24 and November 9, police said.

Man sustains minor injuries in accident

A tractor-trailer driver went off the roadway in East Union Twp. and hit a guardrail after experiencing a medical emergency, Frackville State Police said.

Police said Jason A. Dillow, 41, of Mount Carmel, was driving north on Main Boulevard near the intersection with Swanks Grove Road when he left the right side of the roadway.

Dillow’s Mack truck suffered disabling damage to the 1 o’clock position, and the truck and its attached trailer were towed from the scene, police said.

Dillow was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-East to be treated for the suspected medical emergency, and police say PennDOT was notified of the guardrail damage.

Goods stolen from vehicle

A 35-year-old McAdoo man reported two items were stolen from his motor vehicle, according to state police in Frackville.

Police responded on Nov. 16 to a call for the theft of a Spyderco knife, valued at $200, and a Glock 23 handgun, valued at $499.

Tools stolen from East Brunswick home

A 39-year-old New Ringgold man was charged by state police in connection with a theft reported at a property in the 200 block of Ridge Road in East Brunswick Twp.

Police said the man entered the property without permission and stole three tools: a Dewalt 14-inch double bevel miter saw, valued at $600; a Bostitch nailer for metal connectors, $200; and a Bostitch finishing nail, $200.

In a news release, police listed a 29-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman, both from New Ringgold, as the victims.
