WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. – The death of a White Bear Lake baby in March has been ruled a homicide and remains under investigation, authorities said Thursday.
The three-month-old child was injured in late January and White Bear Lake police said they responded to investigate “possible child abuse.” The child died in a hospital about two months later.
On Thursday, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office released its autopsy report on the child. His cause of death is listed as “complications of bilateral subdural hemorrhages” and the manner of death is listed as homicide.
Police said no arrests have been made but the child’s murder is under investigation.
