Man dies after being found in a crashed SUV in St. Paul, police say

ST. PAUL, Min. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Monday evening on St. Paul’s east side.

Officers were called to the area around York Avenue and Van Dyke Street near Hazel Park just after 10 p.m., where they found an SUV crashing into a tree.

There was a man inside with gunshot wounds. He later died from his injuries, police said.

No arrests have been made. This is St. Paul’s twelfth murder of the year.
