The remains of a missing person were found Sunday in a vehicle submerged in a canal in Broward, police said.
The human remains were found shortly after 12:45 a.m. in a canal on the 10100 block of Southwest First Street in Plantation. Police and divers from the Broward Sheriff’s Office helped pull the body — and the vehicle it was found in — from the water.
The Broward Police Department Dive Team and Coroner’s Office investigated the crime scene, located at 10151 SW 1st St in Plantation, where a car containing skeletal remains of adults and children was found in a canal on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
