According to police, three people were shot on Sunday during a fight between several people.
Cahokia Heights police say there are currently no suspects or motive for the shooting.
Cahokia Heights Detective DeMarius Thomas said police were called at 4:30 p.m. to reports of a fight at the Private Mathison Manor Apartments in the 5900 block of Mitchell.
“Three people — two men and a woman — were shot. They were taken to area hospitals,” he said.
No other information was available, including the identities of the victims or their conditions.
Thomas said Cahokia Heights police are currently investigating and looking for the person or persons responsible.
