“I just left Tyreek and he’s getting ready to play today,” Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“I have heard from sources that Tyreek Hill was issued a reckless driving ticket following his incident with police outside the stadium,” ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reported from the scene. “After being pulled over, he got into a verbal altercation with police. The officer decided to place Hill in handcuffs. He was issued a ticket and released after the situation was de-escalated.”
The Dolphins released a statement regarding Hill: “This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was stopped for a traffic incident approximately one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police. He has since been released. Several teammates witnessed the incident and stopped to offer support. Tyreek and all other players involved arrived safely at the stadium and will be available for today’s game.”
