Philadelphia police have released photos of a man they say is a suspect in a child sex abuse investigation and home invasion that occurred early Wednesday morning.
According to police, the burglary and assault occurred around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at 3000 Cottman Avenue in the Mayfair neighborhood.
The man was reportedly caught trying to open the doors of a home near where the crimes took place, police said.

According to police, the man is between 20 and 30 years old, has a slim build and is of average height.
Authorities say the man has short hair and a full beard and was wearing a surgical mask, a dark-colored jacket with a light-colored hoodie underneath, and dark pants, as seen in the photos above.
According to police, the man also has a large tattoo on the right side of his neck with a “1” above it and behind his right ear.
