A Florida lottery prize worth nearly $109,000 was purchased at a Broward Publix

Tuesday was no ordinary Tuesday for a Publix customer and Florida lottery player who bought a ticket worth nearly $109,000.

Someone who rolled 3, 8, 20, 31 and 36 at the Tamarac Town Square Publix, 8245 NW 88th Ave., won the Fantasy 5 evening drawing jackpot of $108,978.

The winner of Tuesday’s Fantasy 5 afternoon drawing jackpot from a Boynton Beach Publix used Quick Pick to choose the numbers that made her ticket worth $52,485.

These and all other winning tickets worth $600 to $1 million can be redeemed at Florida Lottery district offices, which are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Miami-Dade office is located in Miami Lakes at 14621 Oak Ln. and can be reached at 305-364-3080 or MIARC@flalottery.com. The Palm Beach office is located at 4360 Forest Hill Blvd. in Palm Springs and can be called at 561-640-6190 and emailed at WPBRC@flalottery.com. Appointments may be made but are not required.
