The Philadelphia Flyers have made a roster move as they placed goaltender Cal Petersen on waivers.

Petersen, 29, played in five games for the Flyers last season and posted a 2-2-0 record, a 3.90 goals-against average (GAA) and a .864 goals-against average (GAA). The Waterloo, Iowa native spent most of the year in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, posting a 10-15-3 record, a .902 SV% and a 2.71 GAA.
In 106 games over six seasons split between the Los Angeles Kings and Flyers, Petersen has a 46-44-10 record, a .903 SV% and a 2.96 GAA.
