October 5 – Burglary

Police are investigating a burglary in the 1700 block of Ashland Avenue. A male victim told officers that sometime between midnight and 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, someone broke into his multi-vehicle garage in an unknown manner. The victim said the drywall between the vehicle spaces was broken off, but he could not determine if anything had been stolen.

ARREST

A Buffalo man was arrested at 9:49 a.m. Thursday for theft of property following a traffic stop on 19th Street. The man, whose age was not known, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree. Officers said they found Briggs driving a 2015 Cadillac XTS that had been reported stolen

ARREST

A Falls woman was arrested Thursday at 6:01 p.m. after an incident in the 2800 block of 20th Street. The 24-year-old woman was charged with second-degree menacing. She is accused of threatening another woman with a knife during an argument.
