Has your flight been cancelled? Here’s what you can do now

Palm Beach International Airport is now in use after parts of Hurricane Milton tore through Palm Beach County. The airport did not suffer any major damage.

For arriving passengers, PBIA suggests you arrive two hours before your flight.

Most major airlines offer passengers the opportunity to rebook their flights cheaply or for free.

Each airline has different rules for passengers who want to rebook their flights. Not all airlines offer rescheduling waivers for PBIA passengers. The airport recommends that everyone check in with their individual airline.

So if your flight is canceled, here’s what you can do:

Allegiant Airlines will contact passengers, full refund

PBIA passengers on Allegiant will receive full refunds or changes to their flights at no additional cost, airline spokesman Hector Mejia said Tuesday evening. The company will contact passengers whose flights were affected by the hurricane, he said.

∙Rebook in the same cabin

∙Book these changes before Friday

∙Travel within one year of the new booking.

But the airline notes on its website that passengers may have to pay more if the new fare is more expensive.

Delta PBIA passengers whose flights were scheduled between Monday and Thursday must reschedule by next Tuesday for a flight starting on or before that day.
