Cold Wednesday in the Philadelphia region with temperatures possible in the low 30s. Here’s the full forecast.

Make sure you go packed on Wednesday morning; Temperatures will once again be quite chilly, with daytime highs only reaching the upper 50s in the Philadelphia region.

Thursday morning will be even colder with the potential to have our first 30s of the year in Philadelphia. Our average high this time of year is in the upper 60s. We’ll get back to seasonal temperatures on Friday and then another nice warm-up for the weekend with highs back into the 70s.

This will also be a very dry and sunny week with dry conditions all weekend. This will not help the rapidly developing to moderate and even severe drought for parts of the area, especially parts of Burlington and Atlantic counties.

In fact, we’ve only had a little over an inch of rain in almost two months, with no rainfall so far in October. In more than 150 years, we have never had zero precipitation during the first 15 days of October, and the dry trend shows no sign of ending.
