Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Bucks County on Wednesday for a campaign event, just two days after hers Visited Western Pennsylvania for a meeting in Erie.

Harris is the latest candidate looking to sway voters in the Delaware Valley this week; In the space of two days, former President Donald Trumphis running mate J.D. Vance, President Biden and first lady Jill Biden all attended events in the Philadelphia area and surrounding suburbs.

Harris will speak this afternoon at Washington Crossing Historic Park, where her campaign says she will be joined by more than 100 Republicans, including former Republican Party Republicans and ex-Trump aides who support her candidacy.

Former Illinois Congressman and January 6 Committee Member Adam Kinzinger, who supported Harris for president will also speak in August.

The Harris campaign says she will discuss patriotism, unity and bipartisanship in her remarks.

Both Harris and Trump have increased the time they spend in Pennsylvania in recent weeks in an effort to win the state’s 19 electoral votes. on November 5. And within the battleground state, Bucks County has become a major prize for both sides.

In 2020, Mr. Biden won Bucks County by just 4% over then-President Trump. Republicans have been working to turn the province around ahead of the 2024 elections, adding thousands of new registrations since February and giving the Republican Party a slight lead over Democrats in the number of registered voters.

The last time a Republican presidential candidate won Bucks County was 1988, but after that debate between Harris and Trump in September, voters told CBS News Philadelphia that they had not moved away from their preferred candidate.

Last month, Vance spoke at the Sports and Events Center at the Newtown Athletic Club in Bucks County, where he criticized Kamala Harris’ “failed leadership” and urged voters to push their families to support Trump in November.
