Scottie Scheffler appeared on ESPN’s “College Gameday” in Austin, Texas on Saturday and was tasked with being the show’s guest selector this week.
Among Scheffler’s predictions were wins for South Carolina, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Colorado, Kansas State, Iowa State, Alabama and his alma mater, Texas.
A notable pick for the No. 1 golfer in the world was No. 6 Miami over Louisville. The reigning Masters and Open Championship winner was confident the Hurricanes would improve to 7-0 against the team in the city where he had spent a brief stint in prison earlier this year.

“I don’t want to add anything personal to this with Louisville – great city, love people,” Scheffler said while wearing his green Masters jacket. “But I think Miami is going to smoke them.”
Scheffler, you will recall, was initially arrested on May 17 and charged with misdemeanor second-degree assault on a police officer, misdemeanor third-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor reckless driving and disobeying signals from officers directing traffic as he was. on the way to Valhalla Golf Club for the PGA Championship in Louisville.
All charges against Scheffler were later dropped.
Scheffler ultimately finished 13 under par, eight shots behind champion Xander Schauffele.
