Staat 91 is open again to through traffic between Omro and Algoma after a two-month road project

OSHKOSH – The section of State 91 between the towns of Omro and Algoma has reopened to through traffic.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation made the announcement two months after starting a roadwork project aimed at improving bridge, culvert and rail structures on State 91.

The project included the replacement of pipe culverts along State 91 between James Road and Clairville Road and the rehabilitation of the State 91 bridge over Waukau Creek.

Work was also underway on the railroad crossing at the Clarirville Road intersection.
