Chicago police have opened a death investigation after a 63-year-old man was pulled from the Chicago River in the Loop Friday afternoon.
About 1:20 p.m., a man was found unconscious in the river in the 300 block of South Wacker Drive. He was pulled from the water and taken to Insight Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives were conducting a death investigation pending autopsy results.
