Which acts are part of the circus this year?

This year’s acts are: Chicago Boyz Acrobatic Team, aerialist Aidan Bryant (“America’s Got Talent” season 16), Strongman Tulga (“America’s Got Talent” season 12), Bobo and Lucky, Scott Murray’s Freestlye Motocross, the Globe of Death, the Cortes family on the flying trapeze and the Hadi Shrine Funsters.

Which acts are not part of the circus this year?

In April, Hadi Shrine officials announced that elephants would no longer be part of the annual circus.

The use of elephants in the three-ring circus has sparked ongoing questions and controversy in recent years, with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, better known as PETA, mounting protests and some top sponsors withdrawing financial support for Hadi Shrine circuses .

A spokesman for the Hadi sanctuary said the decision had “nothing to do” with PETA or the loss of sponsors, but that the elephants were too old and the organization that provided the elephants no longer trains the animals for circus work. .
