Seattle Police Department officers arrested a man on multiple charges after responding to reports that he was sleeping in a vacant apartment in the University District Tuesday night.
According to a Seattle Police Department incident report, officers responded to reports of a 38-year-old man sleeping in a vacant apartment surrounded by what police said was drug paraphernalia on the 9th just before 10:50 Tuesday evening. Avenue Northeast in the city’s University District.
Officers entered the apartment and found the man in one of the bedrooms. When officers came into contact with the man, he fought them, ignored commands, resisted arrest and assaulted them.
Officers then bagged the man and arrested him.
Officers arrested him for criminal trespass, resisting arrest and assault. The man also had two warrants for his arrest for reckless burning and criminal trespass.
He was booked into the King County Jail.
