LIVINGSTON – Nothing says Thanksgiving like the traditional family meal: turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.
For some, spending hours in the kitchen is part of the tradition. For others, it’s the rare opportunity to take the whole family out for dinner.
We’ve compiled a non-exhaustive list of restaurants open on Thanksgiving, but given the increased need for reservations, be sure to call ahead.
Which restaurants are open on Thanksgiving?
Cracker barrel: The restaurant is open according to regular opening hours on Thanksgiving Day. Visit locally at 7925 Conference Center Drive in Brighton.
Bob Evans: 8am – 7pm Thanksgiving Day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Howell’s Bob Evans is located at 3880 E. Grand River Ave. For more information, visit bobevans.com.
IHOP: The restaurant will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving Day, but will not have a special menu. Visit the restaurant at 8075 Nemco Way in Brighton.
Most restaurants are closed on Thanksgiving, including Outback Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, Chili’s and Applebee’s.
