YORK, Maine – A 45-year-old man has died as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Mountain Road, according to police.
The man’s identity was not immediately released pending notification of next of kin.
According to York Police Department Sgt. Benjamin Ogden. The motorcyclist was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire, where he died.
Motorcycle accident under investigation
The New Hampshire Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, police said. The crash remains under investigation with the assistance of York Police’s accident reconstruction expert.
York Police, York Ambulance and York Beach Rescue responded to the accident.
