A Cave Creek father fatally shot his son during a fight on Thanksgiving Day, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Sgt. Calbert Gillett in an email interview.
According to Gillett, Michael Walton, 80, shot and killed his son Brett, 53, during that fight. Brett was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests had been made as of Friday afternoon, but homicide detectives were investigating Walton as the prime suspect, Gillett added.
