🎧 Jeff Daniels tells his life story

What you need to know: In the second season of his audio-memoir podcast, Daniels explores his past through songs and skits, delving into his craft and how he got to where he is. [Detroit Free Press]

Why I’m going to listen: The podcast is produced by his son, making each episode feel even more like a doting father dutifully distilling life lessons. You can really tell that Daniels loves what he does.

Why I recommend it: It’s both refreshing and familiar and has the same format as the original show, except the contestants compete as teams of three with funny names instead of riding solo. [USA Today]
