The Clay County Sheriff is warning of disruption to AT&T service if the equipment provider changes

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is warning homes in the Middleburg area of ​​expected service disruptions for regular AT&T customers when the provider switches equipment.

The sheriff’s office posted on its Facebook page Friday morning that the disruptions will begin around midnight through Saturday morning and will impact those who have phone numbers that begin with the following:

“There will be no dial tone when you attempt to answer the phone, meaning all calls, including to 911, will be affected for a short period of time,” the Facebook post said. The service is expected to take between 20 and 40 minutes, the post said.
