Ohio Manufactures’ Association Endorses Workforce Partnership of Putnam County

Dec. 6—COLUMBUS — The Workforce Partnership of Putnam County (WPPC) has received the endorsement of the Ohio Manufactures’ Association (OMA).

This approval recognizes the Workforce Partnership’s outstanding contributions to addressing workforce development challenges in the manufacturing sector and its alignment with state and regional economic growth goals, according to a news release.

With the OMA’s approval, the WPPC becomes part of a growing network that now includes 19 Internet service providers covering 75 of Ohio’s 88 counties.

“Ohio’s manufacturing ISP network serves as a national model for effective workforce development strategies,” said Ryan Ausburger, president of the OMA, in a news release.

To earn the approval, each ISP must meet criteria such as leading the industry, solving workforce challenges, actively participating in the workforce, aligning with the OMA Workforce Roapmap and developing and submitting a comprehensive strategic plan.
