What is the parade route for the 2024 Ocean City Christmas Parade?

The Ocean City Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday, December 7, starting at 11 a.m. with an extended route from Old Landing Road to 120th Street. To accommodate the event, Rijkswaterstaat will begin setting up traffic changes at 7:45 a.m., with the full traffic pattern in effect at 9:00 a.m.

How will the traffic pattern change for the Ocean Ciy Christmas Parade?

The following traffic changes apply before and during the parade:

  • The southbound lanes of Coastal Highway, from 100th Street to 125th Street, are closed for the parade and spectator viewing.

  • The northbound lanes will be reduced to allow for two-way traffic.

Expect traffic delays before, during and immediately after the parade.

  • Walk smart: Use marked crosswalks, follow traffic lights and stay on sidewalks.

  • Cycle smart: Ride on designated cycle paths, follow traffic lights and always ride with traffic.

  • Drive smart: Slow down, stay alert and always drive sober.

Weather forecast for today in Ocean City

The good news is that no rain is expected, but make sure you’re ready if you go to the big Ocean City Christmas Parade today. Expect partly cloudy skies, with a daytime high of 45 degrees and an Accuweather “real feel” of 37 degrees.
