New York prosecutors have charged Luigi Mangione, 26, with murder in connection with the Dec. 4 killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, court records show.

Mangione was arrested and questioned by police on Monday after a McDonald’s employee in Altoona, Pa. called 911. He gave police the same fake ID that the suspect used to check into a hostel in New York City. to the murder, police sources told The New York Times.

Mangione also carried a gun that resembled the murder weapon, police said, as well as what police described as a “manifesto” criticizing health care companies for prioritizing profit margins over patients. Mangione was arrested in Pennsylvania on weapons charges and is expected to be extradited to New York.
