Police arrested a man Monday in connection with an assault in Groton.
Sean Walsh, 26, of the Taftville section of Norwich was arrested at a home in Groton shortly before 5:20 p.m., according to the City of Groton Police Department.
Police said Walsh had warrants out for his arrest in connection with a previous assault in Groton and the theft of alcohol. Police said he also had two warrants out for his arrest for violating his probation.
Walsh is charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree breach of peace, false statements and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. He also faces two charges of probation violation.
Walsh was being held on a $295,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
